Documentario sulla vita gay nell'Africa contemporanea a più voci: da Vincent, griot - cantastorie della Costa d'Avorio, a Barbara, presidente della locale Associazione Travestiti. Questi personaggi ci portano ad esplorare i concetti di identità sessuale e culturale così come sono vissuti nella loro terra. Philip Brooks è regista-sceneggiatore-traduttore per la televisione francese ma anche inglese ed australiana; Laurent Bocahut è uno degli organzzatori del Festival des Films Gays et Lesbiens de Paris. Documentary on gay life in contemporary Africa. From Vincent - a storyteller-shaman in the Ivory Coast -, to Barbara, president of the local Transvestite Association. These characters takes us on an exploration of cultural and sexual identities as they experience them in their own country. Philip Brooks is a director, screenplayer and translator working for the French, the English and the Australian television; Laurent Bocahut is one of the organizers of the Festival des Films Gays et Lesbiens de Paris. |
