Essere lesbiche è così di moda di questi tempi che anche le ragazze eterosessuali non vogliono essere escluse dalla festa. Stéphane Giusti, prestata al cinema dalla TV, cavalca l'onda della visibilità lesbica, con riferimenti all'opera di Almodovar che sono molto più di una semplice citazione, rendendo lo svolgersi della vicenda spesso surreale ed esilarante. L'avventura del coming out di Ariane, Eva e Nico. si svolge nella tenuta di campagna della madre di Camille, tanto sostenitrice della causa lesbica da accogliere gli ospiti con la bandiera arcobaleno. E infatti nel corso del week-end non saranno solo le giovani generazioni a scioccare i presenti... Troppo bello per essere vero, anzi, decisamente inverosimile? Pourquoi pas moi? è un film che insegna alle mamme e ai papà che non è mai troppo tardi per cambiare prospettiva sulle cose e, per alcuni di loro, per inventarsi una nuova vita. Con la pop star anni '60 d'oltralpe Johnny Halliday nella parte di un torero in pensione. Being a lesbian is so hip in these days that even straight girls want to be 'one of the girls'. The coming out adventure of Eva, Ariane and Nico takes place during a weekend in the country set up by Ariane girlfriend's mother, in a villa where the guests are welcomed by a waving rainbow flag. And where shocking revelations will not come only from the young generation... Too good to be true? Unbelievable? Anyway Pourquoi pas moi it's a film who teaches moms and dads that is never too late to change perspective on things and, for some of them, to reinvent life.
